- Subaru selling made-to-order, race-ready rally cars
-
It’s all about sports for some people and then may it be Motorsports or simply motors-related sports, companies are cashing in on the opportunity. Some are like the Suzuki Blizzard Grand Vitara made for specially snow sports and include custom racks for all the snow equipment you would need on your ride…while some like this Subaru ready-race-rally cars provide the sports themselves. Subaru Australia will be offering these rally-cars in various packages based on the Impreza WRX STI spec.C – the Group N FIA homologated car developed by Fuji Heavy Industries in Japan.Good news for all the rally fans out there. Now you don’t need to know the detailed knowledge of every aspect of construction and repair to make yourself one. Just make sure you can drive them! Prices range from the base version for AUD$69,990 (US$55,000) to a full Production World Rally Championship (PWRC) version at AUD$195,000 (US$153,000).
When you get one of these and someone crazy enough to sit next to you to help navigate, make sure you check the roll-cage and seatbelts first!
