Times have changed and so has the style statement. Yes, you’ve got it; we are talking about 2007 Toyota Yaris TS. The production version of the 2007 Toyota Yaris TS will debut at the Paris Motor Show in late September. The car was first previewed in concept form in February. The TS gets its power from an all-new 1.8-litre Dual VVT-i engine developing 132 horsepower for a top speed of 121 mph. The car will feature specially tuned suspension and sportier styling. Oh, what a disappointment! We currently drive an 'old' Yaris T-Sport and it's a good car but a bit short of puff. So we were really looking forward to the new 'more powerful' 1.8TS. Imagine our disappointment when we read the specs: 134HP but still no quicker than the old model. What a wasted opportunity. Looks like we'll be looking elsewhere.
