The new Ferrari F2007

F2007test.jpgScuderia Ferrari, thankfully not Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro as F1 has now quit smoking, introduced the new Ferrari codenamed 658 at the start of the new season. During this the folks over at Ferrari were careful not to release any rear images and not give out any tips on the aerodynamic design of the car. However, I doubt that most of you would even notice the difference in the new car spare a few F1 fanatics…but what is noticeable is that the car is Marlboro free!

The team claims that the new car is significantly different from the 248 F1 and comes with a new front suspension but the rear suspension remains the same as the 248 F1. The gearbox now is fitted with an innovative quick-shift system (seven gears plus reverse). The car has a longer wheelbase than its predecessor with changes in the engine intake and side-pods openings as well.

Refer to the video for a better look…even thought they have shown just the front any F1-Ferrari would enjoy it. Too bad Shumie won’t be around to drive this one.
