New 5-seat Citroen C4 Picasso

The new 5-seat Citroen C4 Picasso is one car that is trying its best to make MPVs look good. One of the major changes in this car being the removal of the 7-seater “soccer-mom” arrangement and reducing it to a 5-seater just as the name suggest, the car had managed to provide ample of space and even improved on the looks.

The car can seat 5 people and provide 500L of boot space under the luggage cover, which extends to a massive 1,734L with the rear seats folded down. The exterior has undergone some changes with a shorter rear overhang and the re-designed rear end giving it a hatchback look. Also there is an optional panoramic sunroof which makes it look like the upper half of the vehicle is completely surrounded by glass.

As for the engines the car comes with four choices - 127hp 1.8L and 143hp 2.0L petrol units, and 110hp 1.6L and 138hp 2.0L diesel powerplants, both fitted with Diesel Particulate Filter Systems. As per the engines the car will come with a manual, automatic or a 6-speed gearbox with paddleshift gearchange. The car maybe priced as low as €20,000 much cheaper than its 7-seater big brother.
