A burglar can crack into some new super-minis in just three seconds in spite of their anti-theft devices installed. According to some news, the Citroen C1, Peugeot 107 and Toyota Aygo were the easiest to steal from. With the best possible score for vehicle security at 100, the three models got just 14 points each for preventing theft from a car in the test. It merely took three seconds for the magazine's testers to get into a Kia Cerato 1.6 LX, while the new Vauxhall Zafira took 18 seconds. The Audi A6 2.4 SE was the most secure, followed by the Lexus LS 430 4.3. The best cars in the medium-sized segments were the Mazda 3 1.6TS and the VW Beetle 2.0. Statistics says that, robbers still attack 81 cars every hour.Thieves are getting more professional in this car stealing business. The procedures they'll take to steal a car, modifying its identity and selling it on are more complicated and thus making it difficult to spot. Reports also tell that portable satellite navigation systems are also targeted by thieves as these are valuable, easy to steal and easy to sell.
