Gumpert Apollo Sport

Copy%20of%20Gumpert%20Apollo%20Sport%202.jpgAptly named, the Apollo can be expected to be the unrivaled god of the race tracks with an insane eight cylinder, bi-turbo mid-engine which generates up to 800 horsepower and is capable of catapulting this 1200 kg car from 0-100 km/h in only 3 second.

The car can reach top speeds of a bone shattering 360 km/h. An opponent perhaps worthy of the Veyron. The car was introduced publically at this years 77th Geneva Auto Show. As you have already noticed that the car is named after the Greek God Apollo (and NOT Gumpert) the car also pleases when it comes to the interior. It offers air-condition, CD-player, navigation system and reverse view camera as standard equipment. As a special accessory the Apollo is equipped with an airjack, a pneumatic jacking pad. And yes of course such things come at a cost and the price tag on this one 300.000 EUR or 390.000 USD.

The car is indeed a beast and god-like on the tracks with very few worthy challenges. One of the noteworthy cars at this years Auto Show.
