Audi TT gets auto dimming rear view mirrors

The Audi TT Coupe which was always fun to drive, will get even better with Gentex providing automatic-dimming rearview mirrors for the car. The auto-dimming mirror system causes all three rearview mirrors to darken automatically in response to the headlamp glare of rearward-approaching vehicles. The brighter the glare, the darker the mirrors become, making nighttime driving safer.

The three-mirror system is optional on the 2007 Audi TT Coupe and consists of an interior auto-dimming mirror with compass display and driver- and passenger-side exterior auto-dimming mirrors. Extremely useful, with ignorant night time drivers who thoughtlessly switch to high beams even when not required, this safety system should be made optional on all cars on the road say we.
