- 2008 Citroen C-Crosser
-
The Citroen’s C-Crosser made it World Show debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Citroen’s first ever SUV is reported to go on sale in Europe later this summer. It will come with a flexible 5+2 seating configuration and a powerful and environmentally friendly diesel engine giving a fuel efficiency of almost 40mpg on the combined cycle. What’s also good about the car is that it will come standard with a 4-wheel drive capability. However the car is almost very similar to the Mitsubishi's Outlander! Under the hood the car sports a new generation 156bhp 2.2HDi engine produces a massive 380Nm of torque at just 2,000rpm. Mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, the engine has strong green credentials with its low fuel consumption, ultra-clean Diesel Particulate Filter System and ability to run on 30% bio-diesel. Here are some more details of the car.
