Sneak Peak at the 2008 Nissan Rogue

Nissan has given a sneak preview of the new and upcoming Rogue Crossover that will be officially unveiled at the 2007 North American International Auto Show in January. There are no official details available of the new car except that it is expected to replace the Nissan X-Trail in Canada. The Rogue will be going up against SUV’s like the redesigned Toyota RAV4 and the Honda CR-V.

The new Nissan has been dubbed the Baby Murano. The car is not that impressive when it comes to the exterior or the interior design. It is too plain and simple and fails to grab attention. Hopefully it will have something more unique to offer in terms of under-the-hood performance when it is officially unveiled at the NAIAS in Detroit. Till then we’ll just have to wait and watch.

I notice a smaller sun roof than the X Trail. I hope Nissan didn't take away the all wheel drive / 4 wheel drive S/W on the dash . The larger tail lights are missed and I hate to see the X Trail name disappear when it only arrived in Canada recently .
