- A new engine for the 2007 Nissan 350Z
-

The popular Nissan 350Z sports car is being updated with the latest VQ35 V6 power plant. This engine debuted in the 2007 Infinity G35 sedan rated at 306 horsepower as per SAE standards. In a statement released by the Nissan product planning VP Larry Dominique, he spoke about the much-discussed 2009 Z. "The price of GT-R will keep it above the mass market, but Z is attainable by most. The next generation Z will continue to deliver upon that promise,” He also said “It will have considerably more performance than the current model and give a visual stimulus beyond today’s Z. This value and performance proposition will be even better than today, continuing an almost 40-year tradition as Nissan’s brand icon."Engine Animation
