2008 Mitsubishi Lancer to arrive in the U.S. first

mitsubishi.jpgThere is good news to all Americans, as Mitsubishi will launch its 2008 Lancer Evolution to the United States before any other market even before it hits the automaker's homeland of Japan. The production sedan is based closely on the Mitsubishi Concept-X. According to some reports of Nihon Keizai Shimbun newspaper, the car will be introduced in Japan in fall 2007 that means approximately six months after it arrives in America. So the U.S. debut will be somewhere around late spring 2007, and there is a great possibilityof introducing the car at the New York Auto Show in April, or even a preview at the Detroit show in January. The company hopes to sell around 50,000 Lancers next year in the 'States.
