Lexus LF-A concept revealed

10-2009-lexus-lf-a-concept.jpgThe LF-A concept was revealed for the first time by the folks over at Lexus as the 2005 Detroit Auto Show. Now, the company has lifted the covers off the latest version which is very close to the production version of the vehicle and might even arrive as soon as a 2008 or 2009 model. From the photos of the car that have been released, if the production version really looks like that…then I have to say that Lexus has established yet another benchmark in car design.

The design is absolutely beautiful and the font makes it looks like an eagle on a hunt. This “eagle” will come equipped with an equally killer 500 horsepower V10 engine with a front-mid engine replacement with rear-mounted transaxle and rear-mounted radiators, allows for ideal weight distribution. And will also make it able to “soar” possibly at 200mph. Good looks on both the interior and exterior, powerful engine and good speed…Lexus has sure don’t their homework on this one.

"The first LF-A was a pure concept, but one that we went so far as to conduct engineering analysis on," said Bob Carter, Lexus Division group vice president and general manager. "This latest concept is much closer to a vehicle that we would bring to market, and one in which we will be gauging consumer interest."
