Hyundai Veracruz debuts at the Detroit Auto Show

Copy%20of%20asset_upload_file507_2092.jpgThe Hyundai Veracruz made its debut at the North American International Auto Show at Detroit. It is a spacious 7 passenger SUV designed to provide ample space along with power, elegant design and safety for the passengers. “Veracruz is an exceptional vehicle at the right time for this developing segment,” said Steve Wilhite, chief operating officer of Hyundai Motor America. “The vehicle’s designers recognized that the needs and desires of traditional SUV buyers weren’t being met and focused on meeting those needs in an elegant and ingenious way. The result is a spacious crossover that delivers both refined style and first-rate performance.”

The car comes with a 3.8 L 260hp DOHC CVVT engine coupled with a 6-speed auto. It also comes in two drive systems of 2WD (front-wheel drive) and the all-wheel-drive. Here are some pics of the Veracruz and the official press release can be seen here. As for the car, in my opinion it looks all revved up to be an instant hit with the design elegance, the space and lets not forget the safety it offers.
