Leaked: New Honda Crossroad

Copy%20of%20honda_crossroad_001.jpgImages of the new Honda Crossroad have been leaked. The car is expected to be released in February 2007. Many spy pics of this unknown Japanese model were caught on camera in LA a few weeks ago. Considering Honda’s future plans for the period of 2007-2009 Honda announced that it plans to introduce a new model which integrates the design and mobility of an SUV and the functionality of seven-passenger seating in spring 2007. Well…here you have it!

The Crossroad will stand tall at 65inches with a width of 70inches and a total length of 168inches. It will seat seven passengers. The car will be available in two engines which include a 140-hp 1.8-L or a 150-hp 2.0 and will come in either front wheel drive or all wheel drive.

For now not much is known about the car and more details will be available with time. The Crossroad maybe not look refined or stylish in the conventional way, but it does look impressive in a way. Looks like Honda has concentrated more on the utility part. Here are some pics so you can make your mind.

This is great. I think this will be a hot seller if it is priced similar to the Honda Element. Will give Mazda 5 and Kia Rondo a run for the money. When will the Crossroad be release into Canada. Please advise. Thanks
