The Ferrari Enzo is a 12-cylinder supercar build in 2003 and named after Enzo Ferrari – company’s co-founder. It was built using F1 technology such as a carbon fiber body, sequential shift transmission and carbon-ceramic brake discs. It also uses other technology like active aerodynamics. The Ferrari is capable of producing a downward force of 775kg (1709 lb) which is reached at 300kmph (186mph) and is maintained by a computer actuated rear wing.
It comes with a mid-engine with a 43.9-56.1 front-rear weight distribution. The engine is Ferrari’s F140 V12 with 4 valves per cylinder, DOHC (dual overhead cams) and variable valve timing. It displaces 5998 cmcm³ (366 in³) and produces 485 kW (651 hp/660 PS) at 7800 rpm and 657 Nm (485 ft-lb) at 5500 rpm. It can accelerate from 0-100kmph (62.5mph) in 3.2 seconds and can reach 100 mph in 6.6 seconds. The ¼ mile (0.4 km) time is 10.8 seconds and the top speed is estimated at 225 mph. It is rated at 8 mpg (29.4 L/100 km) in the city and 12 mpg (19.6 L/100 km) on the highway.
It also comes with a 6-speed automated manual transmission with paddles controlling an automated shifting and clutch mechanism. The Enzo uses 483mm (19inch) wheels and has 381mm (15in) Brembo disc brakes.
