Great Wall Copy the Fiat Panda, Fiat Considering Lawsuit

Fiat is not too please with the copycat version that the Chinese car company “Great Wall” has presented called the “Peri”. The Peri was presented at the Bologna Motor Show. Fiat claims that the Peri is a virtual copy of the Fiat Panda and is threatening legal action against the Chinese company. The Chinese model is expected to be marketed in Europe by mid 2007.

Great wall has 90 dealerships in the European countries and is expected to increase it to 110. Here are some photos of the two cars and it is easy to see why Fiat is not too happy with it and is threatening legal action.
