Copy%20of%20Fiat%20Grande%20Punto%20Abarth%20Turbo1.jpgThis car marks the return of the legendary Abarth Scorpion, a line of Fiat cars from the past that sport the Abarth logo featuring the Scorpion. Grande Punto Abarth will be Fiats answer to the Peugeot 207 GT 1.6T and the VW Polo GTI. The car will be launched at the Geneva Auto Show along with its rally version the Grande Punto Abarth S2000. The rally version will step into the 2007 Italian Rally Championship with Giandomenico Basso and navigator, Mitia Dotta.

Other models in this range will include the 500 Abarth and the Bravo Abarth. For not the car will be equipped with the 1.4 Turbo petrol engine that premiered on the Bravo and will deliver 150Hp at 5500 rpm and upped to 155Hp if you use 98 RON petrol. The engine will generate a max torque of 230Nm at 3.000 rpm. However, later Fiat will be coming up with the booster kit which will boost the engine to 180Hp.

This car is on of the interesting ones that will be introduced at this year Geneva Auto Show partly because it will enter a rally and the outcome will be interesting to watch.
