2007 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Mopar Concept Coupe

viper.black.430.jpgThis kind of gives you a sneak peak into the minds of the designer over at Dodge and their attempts of breaking the land speed record in a production version car perhaps. Now you may say that I am wrong when I say this, but why else would they need the additional 75 ponies to boost the already insanely powerful Dodge Viper SRT-10 to 675 horses.

Now don’t get me wrong…I am totally dumbfounded at the sheer power of the car but still at a loss at what I can do with such power. The addition power was obtained by the use of Mopar parts to improve the performance and appearance of their Viper. The engine receives an additional 75 horsepower thanks to titanium valves and connecting rods, cast litex pistons, a lightened crankshaft, and a high-flow intake manifold. A tubular exhaust header package, a cold air induction system, and a cat-back exhaust system round out the power upgrades.

It you folks don’t get all that technical mumbo-jumbo, just imagine the existing Viper SRT-10 on steroids.
