With a power to weight ratio of 10:1, you’re on a straight shot to the 8,000 RPM redline from the first touch of the pedal. Its engine of the Year power gets you from 0-60 in 4.9 second. The S54 engine differs from BMW’s other 6-cylinder engines with its cast-iron cylinder block. It was chosen for its compactness, strength and its unique cylinder head. The Adaptive Brake Lights in the car are designed to reduce the risk of bumper-to-bumper collisions. The brake light area corresponds with how forcefully the driver applies the brakes. The more urgent the braking, the larger and brighter the brake light area becomes.

The exterior and the interior of the cars look very refined and stylish. The exhausts towards the rear and the glasses shaped tail lights give it a aggressive look of that of a sports cars. This is indeed one of the masterpieces from the BMW company and it be seen as to why it made the top of Playboys cars of the year 2007.
