- VW IROC Concept
These are some preview images of the VW IROC Concept which were released by the folks over at VW and the car previews the 2008/2009 Volkswagen Scirocco coupe which was a VW sold in the Seventies, Eighties and even early Nineties and will be reintroduced as a production version in this one. It will come with a TSI engine which might include as AutoWeek guessed, a 1.4-liter, 210-hp four-cylinder Twincharger gasoline engine; a turbocharged 2.0-liter 240-hp four-cylinder; and a 3.6-liter 280-hp V6 and an all-wheel drive.

- Danish designed RoadRazer
This car, labeled the RoadRazer was designed by Danish enthusiast Mikkel Steen Pederesen and introduced at the Autosport International Show in UK. This one-seater weighs at only 666 pounds thanks to the use of extensive carbon-fiber and light-weight alloys and is powered by an 180hp, 1.3L Suzuki Hayabusa four-cylinder motorbike engine giving it a estimated 0-62mph in less than 3 seconds.

- Batman to auction his car
“Holy smokes Batman!” or something similar along those lines was what Robin used to say in the Gotham City crime fighting series Batman & Robin. Well, it all came back to me when I read this – Holy smokes Batman! The Batmobile is on auction. That’s right folks; one of the four originally created Batmobiles is to be auctioned off by Coys Auctions on the 27th of February at the Royal Horticultural Hall in London at and expected amount of 148,000$ and is probably one of the most coveted cars out there.

- Nissan Skyline Sedan in the 350 GT Type-S version
The custom-made Nissan Skyline Sedan in the 350GT Type-S version was shown at the Tokyo Auto Salon by the folks over at KenStyle. Now the car has undergone major bodywork to give it more “aerodynamic” feel. This includes modifications like the new front and rear bumpers along with the seamlessly integrated side skirts which give the car a “sporty” feel. The high quality material used in this body-kit is obvious.

- BMW pours cold water on Hydrogen cars
Cars which completely run on fossils fuels are a major threat to the environment with the kind of emission they cause. Due to this, hybrid cars which use a combination of both fuel and an electric motor and hydrogen powered cars which emit water vapor are the preferred choice. However, the future of hydrogen cars has been pushed even further.

The folks over at Mazda have created an online version of the company’s Mazda museum located at the Hiroshima Design Center. The online museum at mazdamuseum.com is developed and created by their longtime interactive agency partner Sarkissian Mason. The museum offers an inside look at Mazda with a combination of flash and video that can be watched on broadband.

Here is another nifty little contraption following the “Finger” gizmo which will sure help you dish out a few insults or laughs at other driver without much effort thanks to the mini-Moonies. It’s what the boys over at boysstuff.co.uk are calling it. The kit contains one mini-Moonie which you can attached to the windows with help of suction cups ad the trigger which can be squeezed to moon the driver passing-by.

- 2008 Mercedes C-Class brochure leaked
Here are some spy shots of the new Mercedes C-Class from the official brochure that was leaked on the web. The vehicle is very similar to the S-Class in terms of some design cues and looks very elegant. It sports a prominent grille with a much larger emblem of the three pointed star. The Elegance range will however have a traditional grille with the emblem remaining on top of the bonnet.

- The new Ferrari F2007
Scuderia Ferrari, thankfully not Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro as F1 has now quit smoking, introduced the new Ferrari codenamed 658 at the start of the new season. During this the folks over at Ferrari were careful not to release any rear images and not give out any tips on the aerodynamic design of the car. However, I doubt that most of you would even notice the difference in the new car spare a few F1 fanatics…but what is noticeable is that the car is Marlboro free!

- BMW introduces new three-door 1-Series for 2007
BMW has introduced the new three-door hatchback 1-Series 2007 and it looks…not that impressive. Now, don’t get me wrong, I won’t call the car ugly…but it does seem a bit shapeless and not at all inspiring like the BMW Z4M or the 2007 BMW 335i. Even with the or shall I say especially with the front twin kidney grille along with the characteristic headlights it seems completely out of proportion which gives the image that the folks over at BMW finished this car in a hurry.

There are some elements of a car, which give it a sort of an identity or attitude. Like broad grilles or maybe large alloy wheels which are characteristic to a sports-car. As a result, there has been a development in the way these minor components are made. The scented car tires example.
